What we do

Support that reaches the whole person.

Living well with HIV takes more than medicine. Our programmes care for body, mind, and the bonds between us.

Our programmes

Five ways we show up for each other

Peer support groups

Safe, confidential gatherings where members share experiences, swap practical advice, and remind one another they are not alone.

Mental health & counselling

One-to-one and group counselling for depression, anxiety, grief, and the pressure of living under stigma. We listen without judgment.

Treatment adherence support

Reminders, encouragement, and accompaniment to clinics so members start, stay on, and benefit from their treatment.

Home-based care

For members who are unwell or housebound, volunteers bring company, basic care, and a link back to the community.

Stigma reduction & advocacy

Community education, awareness events, and speaking up for the rights and dignity of people living with HIV.

Information & referral

Clear, friendly guidance on testing, clinics, nutrition, and rights — and warm referrals to partners when specialist help is needed.

Why mental health

The struggle you do not see

For many members, the hardest part of living with HIV is not the virus — it is the depression, anxiety, and isolation that stigma brings. People hide their status from family, lose work, and withdraw from the people they love.

Our space gives a reason to step out, to be seen, and to be supported. The simple act of having somewhere safe to go can be the thing that keeps someone going.
